Multiple Facilities

Evansville Christian Grade School (ECS) was founded in 1975 and housed within multiple church locations. The elementary student base has grown to more than 800 since that time. The school leadership recognized not only the need for a high school but for an entire centralized campus.

In 2016 our team was selected to complete the design and construction management for a new two-story 43,000 SF precast high school facility.

Roughly 31,000 SF includes the academic portion of the building comprised of 12 classrooms; eight flexible learning spaces that can be expanded for larger classrooms, two science rooms with labs, fine arts, music and band rooms, a commons area with seating and space for presentations and administrative offices with secured entrances. An additional 13,000 SF is for athletic facilities, including a full-sized gym with practice courts, a fitness room and locker rooms.

In 2020, our team continued the campus expansion with a new single-story elementary school. The 63,000 SF facility included: a gymnasium, art room, band room, cafeteria, and media and technology centers. The new kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school sits adjacent to the high school our team completed in May 2017.

Due to the rising demand of high school enrollment, Phase 1 of a new master plan has begun with a 12,500 SF addition consisting of an eight-classroom expansion. Our team started design in October of 2024 with construction completed in July 2025.

Traylor Building and Evansville Christian School share a more than 10-year partnership. The campus now includes stand-alone high school and elementary schools on nearly 18 acres of developed land.
